ttny.io provides several important metrics to help you understand your link performance:

Click Metrics

  • Total Clicks: The overall number of times your link has been clicked
  • Unique Clicks: The number of distinct users who have clicked your link (based on browser/device fingerprinting)
  • Click-through Rate (CTR): For links used in campaigns, this shows the percentage of viewers who clicked the link
  • Click Trends: Visualizes clicks over time, helping you identify patterns or spikes in traffic

Audience Insights

  • Geographic Location: Shows where your clicks are coming from by country, region, and city
  • Devices: Breaks down clicks by device type (desktop, mobile, tablet) and operating system
  • Browsers: Shows which web browsers your audience is using
  • Language: Indicates the browser language settings of your visitors

Referral Sources

  • Referrers: Shows which websites or platforms are sending traffic to your link
  • Social Media: Breaks down clicks from different social media platforms
  • Direct vs. Indirect: Distinguishes between direct clicks and those from other sources

Note: Some metrics are only available on Pro and Business plans. Free accounts have access to basic click data and limited geographic information.

Analyzing Your Data

Here's how to make the most of your link metrics:

Comparing Performance

Use the comparison feature to evaluate different links side by side:

  1. In the Analytics dashboard, select two or more links using the checkboxes
  2. Click "Compare" in the action menu
  3. View metrics for these links in a comparative format

Identifying Peak Times

The time-based analysis helps you understand when your audience is most active:

  • Use the "Clicks by Time" chart to see which hours of the day generate the most clicks
  • Check the "Clicks by Day" chart to identify which days of the week perform best
  • Schedule your content publishing accordingly to maximize engagement

Geographic Targeting

Use location data to refine your targeting strategy:

  • Identify regions where your content performs well
  • Consider creating region-specific campaigns for high-performing areas
  • Adjust content timing based on time zones of your most engaged audiences

Tip: Export your analytics data to CSV or Excel format for deeper analysis or to combine with data from other marketing tools.
